Student Financial Services
The mission of Student Financial Services is to effectively and efficiently assist students with managing their account balance, collect student fees, disburse financial aid, and provide collection activities in a manner which best serves students, faculty, staff, and community, and which is supportive of the mission of Financial Services.
Important Dates
Spring Quarter:
- March 5th, 2013 - SPRING Open Enrollment Begins.
- March 7th, 2013 - SPRING tuition due date. Tuition due for registration occurring February 14th through March 4th.
- March 18th, 2013 - SPRING Late Registration Begins.
- March 29th, 2013 - SPRING Refund Deadline Last day to drop all classes for 100% reduction in tuition.
- March 29th, 2013 – SPRING Last day to apply for an Installment Payment Plan. Please refer to the agreement form for installment due dates.
- March 30th, 2013 - SPRING Saturday classes begin.
- April 1st, 2013 – Campus Closed. Cesar E Chavez Holiday Observed.
- April 2nd, 2013 - SPRING Regular classes begin.
- April 15th, 2013 - SPRING Refund Deadline – Last day to reduce units for a reduction in tuition.
- April 22nd, 2013 – SPRING Census Day.
- May 15th, 2013 - SPRING Last day to withdraw from ALL units and receive a prorated refund.
- June 10th, 2013 – SPRING Emergency Loans due.

Students with a past-due balance will have a hold placed on registration, and will not be able to enroll until the past-due balance is paid in full.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING FEES:
The Proposition 30 ballot initiative was approved by voters in the November 6, 2012 election. As a result, the California State University will implement the tuition fee contingency plan as previously approved by the Board of Trustees. The California State University will roll back tuition fees to 2011-12 fee levels, retroactive to the fall 2012 term. For further information regarding tuition fees, please visit the California State University Budget Office web site. The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees.
